Olympic Peninsula Wineries Recommended Listed Top of Page	The Puget Sound AVA is the only American Viticultural Area in Washington State outside of the Columbia Valley AVA in Eastern Washington. All of the other AVA’s in Washington State are sub-AVA’s of the Columbia Valley AVA. The Puget Sound AVA basically covers the Interstate-5 corridor from the Canadian Border to the Lewis County Line south of Olympia. Olympic Peninsula – Puget Sound AVA Puget Sound AVA There are many ways to get to the north end of the Olympic Peninsula. The simplest, without taking a ferry ride, is to head west on US-101 from Interstate-5 Exit 104. Travel 6 miles to the west then exit to the north at the Shelton / US-101 exit. Travel up US-101 for about 75 miles and you will find yourself in Sequim, on the north shore of the Olympic Peninsula, across the Strait of Juan de Fuca from Victoria, BC. Another 20 miles down the road will bring you to Port Angeles, the west end of the Puget Sound AVA.
