It should be noted that the next 100 miles of I-80 crosses the Great Salt Lake Desert. Be sure you have fuel and drinking water. If your car should break down you will need drinking water to sustain life until help arrives. Near Wendover the Bonneville Speedway is located. From Wendover to Milepost 70 do not leave the freeway right-of-way as travel in this area is restricted.

Exit 2 – Wendover, Nevada (no return to I-80 westbound)

Exit 4 – Bonneville Speedway – there is 24 hr. fuel and food at this exit.

Milepost 10 – State of Utah Rest Area both east and westbound

Exit 41 – Knolls – There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 49 – Clive – There are no facilities at this exit.

Mile Post 54 – State of Utah Rest Area both east and westbound

Exit 62 – Lakeside / Eagle Range – Military Area - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 70 – Delle – There is food, 24 hr. fuel at this exit.

Exit 77 – UT 196 south to Rowley Junction and Dugway – There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 84 – Grantsville / UT 138 to Tooele – There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 88 – Grantsville – There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 99 – UT 36 south 12 mi. to Tooele – HOSPITAL – There is food, 24 hr. fuel, lodging, and an RV Park near this exit

Milepost 101 – Salt Lake County Line

Town of Magna

Exit 102 – UT 201 (eastbound only) to Magna – There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 104 – Magna / UT 201 / Great Salt Lake State Park / Great Salt Lake Beaches - There are no 33 miles to Salt Lake City facilities at this exit.

Salt Lake City

Exit 111 – 7200^th Street - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 113 – 5600^th Street (eastbound only) – There is gas, food, and lodging at this exit.

Exit 114 – Write Brothers Drive (westbound only) – there is gas, food, and lodging at this exit.

Exit 115a – 40^th West / West Valley Freeway / Salt Lake Airport –

Exit 117 – I-215 north to Ogdon / I-215 south to Provo – There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 118 – Redwood Road / UT 68 – There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 120 – I-15 north to Ogden

(Note: I-15 and I-80 run together here for a couple of miles)

Exit 121 – Downtown Salt Lake City / Temple Square

Exit at Exit 121 to see Temple Square and downtown Salt Lake City.

If you want to bypass the downtown area exit at Exit 117 or 120 to Interstate 15 northbound to continue on our “Great Western Circle” route.
