The “Great Western Circle” Tour

The Salt Lake City Area consists of Salt Lake, Weber, and Cache Counties, Utah, USA

It includes the cities of Salt Lake City, Bountiful, Layton, Clearfield, Ogden, and Logan, Utah

On our “Great Western Circle” Tour we travel on Interstate 15 from Interstate 80 in Salt Lake City and go north to the Utah / Idaho State Line

(Because all of our area pages run from the north to the south, this page begins at the bottom ( Salt Lake City) and works up if you are traveling our “Great Western Circle” Tour.)

Exit 402 – Portage – there is fuel at this exit.

Exit 394 – Plymouth – There is fuel and camping at this exit

Exit 387 – Riverside – There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 382 / I-84 Exit 40 / I-84 west to Boise / I-15 north to Pocatello

(note: I-15 and I-84 joint from there south to exit 343 where I-84 heads east to meet with I-80 Exit 168 east of Coalville, UT

Exit 379 – Tremond - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 375 – Honeyville – there is camping in the area

Milepost 370 – State of Utah Rest Area for southbound only

Brigham City

Exit 368 - Brigham City / Golden Spike National Historical Site - There are no facilities at this exit. It is 29 miles to the Golden Spike National Historical Site.

Exit 366 – Brigham City - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 364 – Brigham City / US Highway 91 east to Wellsville then US Highway 89 to Logan – There is gas, food, and lodging at this exit

Mile Post 363 – State of Utah Rest Area for northbound only

Exit 360 – Willard / UT 315 north to Perry – There is fuel at the exit and and RV park (KOA) 2 mi. east

Exit 354 – Willard Bay Area / Willard Bay State Park

Exit 352 – North Ogden – there is gas and food at this exit

Exit 349 – Harrisville – There is fuel at this exit

Exit 347 – Ogden / 12^th Street – There is gas, food, and lodging at this exit

Exit 346 – Ogden / 21^st Street – There is gas, food, and lodging at this exit

Exit 345 – Ogden / 24^th Street – There is fuel at this exit.

Exit 344a – Ogden

Exit 343 – Interstate 84 heads east to meet with I-80 Exit 168 east of Coalville, UT

(note: northbound I-15 and I-84 join together from here north to exit 382 where I-84 heads west to Boise and I-15 heads north to Pocatello.)

Exit 342 – Interstate 84 east to I-80 for northbound traffic – There is gas, food, and lodging at this exit.

Exit 341 – Layton – There is gas, food, and lodging at this exit

Exit 338 – Clearfield / Hill Air Force Base – There is gas, food, and lodging at this exit

Exit 336 – Clearfield / Hill Air Force Base – there is gas at this exit

Exit 334 – Layton – there is gas, food, and shopping at this exit

Exit 332 – Layton – There is gas and food at this exit

Exit 331 – Kaysville – There is gas, food, and lodging at this exit.

Exit 327 – Farmington – There is an amusement park, food, and camping at this exit.

Exit 326 – US 89 north to Fruit Heights – There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 325 – Farmington / Lagoon Drive – There is an RV Park at this exit

Exit 322 – Centerville – there is gas food and shopping at this exit

Exit 321 – Bountiful – There is food, 24 hr fuel, and lodging at this exit

Exit 320 – Bountiful / Woods Cross / HOSPITAL – There is gas, food, and lodging at this exit

Exit 318 – Woods Cross / North Salt Lake – There is gas, food, and lodging at this exit.

Exit 317 – North Salt Lake / Center Street – There is fuel at this exit.

Exit 316 – Interstate 215 to Salt Lake Airport from southbound only

Salt Lake City

Exit 315 – Beck Street - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 314 – Redwood Road - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 313 – 9^th Street – There is food at this exit

Exit 312 – 6^th Street – HOSPITAL – LDS Temple, main downtown entrance

Exit 311 ( I-80 Exit 120 ) – I-15 north to Ogden

(Note: I-15 and I-80 run together here for a couple of miles)
