Fife is in the Puyallup River
valley east of Tacoma. The freeway actually runs east and west
here. The port
of Tacoma is to the north and west
of Fife.
Old US Highway 99 lies just west (actually north) of the freeway
here and is lined with local businesses and tourist services. The southern end of Highway 99 begins at
this exit and continues north from here all the way to Everett where it ends at I-5 exit
189. Milton
is a mainly residential area which lies east of the City of Fife.
