Woodinville, Washington is in the northeast end of the Seattle Metropolitan Area. Woodinville, WA is located in the northern end of the Sammamish River Valley. The City of Woodinville is just 20 miles Northeast of downtown Seattle.

The City is conveniently positioned just east of Interstate-405 Exit 23 which exits to Bothell, Woodinville, and WA-522 on its way to US-2 in Monroe.

A Little Woodinville History

First settled in 1871 by Ira and Susan Woodin, Woodinville was heavily forested and popular with loggers and their families. In more recent years the saw mills have been replaced with retail shops, restaurants and wineries.

Area Attractions

Molbak’s Greenhouse and Nursery, is more than just a gardeners delight, it is an institution in the northeast corner of the Seattle Metro area. Their expansive 15 acre grounds include a garden store, gift shop, floral shop, holiday boutique, and patio furniture shop. Their extravagant holiday displays help them attract over a million visitors each year.
