Seattle Metro map is loading.....

On the map above Snoqualmie Pass is about 33 miles east of Issaquah (shown at center right on the map).

Snoqualmie Pass (I-90)

Interstate-90 over Snoqualmie Pass is the most heavily traveled highway that crosses Washington state west to east. It is also the lowest pass in the state over the Cascade Mountains.

The highway remains open year-round except for closures during storms and avalanches.  The elevation at the pass is 3,022 feet (921 meters) above sea level.

At the summit there is a ski area and a small community mainly aimed at servicing the snow skiing participants.

The other passes over the Cascade Mountains are Stevens Pass (US-2), White Pass (US-12) and  North Cascades Pass(WA-20).

The Washington State Department of Transportation website has live traffic cameras that offer five different views of the pass. Click here to view the live Snoqualmie pass cameras.
