Restaurants we recommend in the

Montlake District in Seattle

The Montlake area of Seattle lies south and across the Ship Canal from the University District and northeast of the downtown area on the east side of Lake Union.  The Montlake Area is mainly a residential district on the hill north of the Capitol Hill area.  Much of the area is a residential hillside overlooking the ship canal and the University District.  Its only commercial area is on Eastlake Avenue near Lake Union.
