West Marina Place
Its kind of hard to find, take Western Ave.
northwest along the bay from downtown when it
curves right (north) there is an overpass to the west, take it. After you pass piers 90 & 91 your will
find 23rd Avenue W. Turn on 23rd Avenue W and drive
south to its end then turn right onto Marina Place.
Or from go south on 28th Avenue West to W.
Galer, turn left. Galer St. will curve a couple of times then become W Garfield Street. About one half block from second curve you
will find 23rd Avenue
West on the right. Turn on 23rd Ave. W and go south to
its end, turn right onto Marina
Place.
Salmon Bay
Salmon Bay is on the southwest side of the Ballard Bridge, the bridge that goes over the
Ship Canal on 15th
Avenue W.
McGraw Street
McGraw Street
is a cross street of 28th
Avenue W in the 2400 block about in the middle
of Magnolia.
Dravus Street
Dravus Street is a cross street to Nickerson St. Nickerson
Street runs along the south bank of the ship
canal between the Ballard Bridge and the Freemont Bridge
(4th Ave N). Take Westlake,
that runs along the west shore of Lake Union,
northeast until it turns right to go over the bridge over the ship
canal. Continue straight, not crossing
the bridge and you are on Nickerson. Dravus St. is on
the left in a couple of blocks. Dravis
is actually in our Interbay neighborhood but we’ve included it here for
simplicity.
The Boxcar Alehouse can be reached easily via 15th Ave W. We
are located at 3407 Gilman Ave W,
right across from the Burlington Northern tracks. We are one block north of Dravus St., where
20th Ave W
becomes Gilman Ave W.
