Neighborhood - Madison Park-lg

Madison Park area of Seattle, Washington is mainly a residential area with a small commercial area at the east end of Madison Street on the neighborhood’s east side along Lake Washington. It is also mainly commercial the entire length of Madison Street.  The University of Washington Arboretum is located in Madison Park and is a wonderful place to spend a few hours.

Madison Street runs to the northeast from downtown Seattle to Lake Washington.  It crosses through the Madison Neighborhood at a 45 degree angle to the other streets and ends up in the neighborhoods commercial area along Lake Washington.

 

In Madison Park you will find a quaint shopping area at the northeast end of Madison Street.  There are also commercial establishments all along Madison Street.  You will also find several very good restaurants in the area and a park on the shore of Lake Washington.
