The International District of Seattle runs from 4th
Avenue to 12th Avenue and from Yessler on the north to Weller or
Dearborn on the south of the area. It
is south east of Pioneer Square
and east of the sports stadiums.

The International District is
a diverse area with several different cultures residing in the
neighborhood. You will find a Chinese
Newspaper, a Chinese opera, and Japanese theater, a Japanese supermarket, and
a Japanese book store in the area. You
will find populations from the Philippines,
China, Korea, Japan,
and Viet Nam
residing in the area.
Most of the cultures
represented in the area have Restaurants in the neighborhood serving cuisine from their country.

The museum is currently closed and moving to a new building. Check back in May of 2008.
