Seattle is a Cosmopolitan
City that has hundreds of attractions.
Below we list only a few of the many attractions.
|
Downtown Shopping Centers |
Pike Place Market
Pike Place Market,
America’s premier farmer’s market opened in 1907 as a place where farmers
could gather to sell their produce to eager city dwellers. Today this famous
market is not only home to farmers selling produce but also hundreds of
year-round commercial businesses, restaurants, crafters, and street
performers. For a taste of the best the Northwest has to offer stop by Pike
Place Market Monday through Saturday 10am- 6pm and Sundays 11am- 5pm.
However, during peak season farmers often open up shop early in the morning.
To find the market go to
1st Avenue and Pike Street and turn west. You will drive right into the market. Parking is hard to find but there are
several public parking garages in the area.
