Below is Nevada Highway 341 to US 50 through Silver City and Virginia City.
NV 341 southbound (Use from bottom up
if following our “Great Western Circle” route).
Milepost 22 – Junction with Nevada US Highway 395 Milepost 57 (above, and go up from there to Reno) – Head north to Reno
Milepost 8 – Virginia City – A restored historic mining town with gift shops, restaurants, and a lot of historic information about the gold rush years of the 1850’s.
Milepost 7 – Junction with NV 342 loop to Gold Hill and Silver City
Milepost 6 on NV342 loop – Gold Hill
Milepost 5 on NV 342 loop – Silver City – The Historic mining town of Silver City which today
consists of a couple of residences and a Masonic Hall. There are also many, many old remnants of
old mines and equipment along this loop.

4 – Junction with NV342 to Silver City and Gold Hill – Note that there is a very steep grade on
this loop and it is not recommended for RV’s and trailers. This loop is only about three miles long and
rejoins NV341 at the south end of Virginia City.
Milepost 0 – Junction with US 50 and beginning of NV341. The Junction is 2 mi. east of Carson City on US 50
