The City of Vallejo – has a population of over 109,000 and an elevation of 40 feet above sea level.  General Vallejo founded the city  where the Napa River empties into the Carquinez Straights.  The town has served as the state capital on two different occasions.  You won’t want to miss the Six Flags Marine World, the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum, and the Mares Island Naval Shipyard Historic Park.

Exit 28a – Lincoln Road (westbound only) – There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 29a – Benicia Road (westbound only) – There is fuel at this exit.

Exit 29b – Central Vallejo / Georgia Street – There is fuel, food, and lodging at this exit.

Exit 30 – Solano Ave. / Springs Rd. – There is food, 24 hr. fuel, laundry, and lodging at this exit.

Exit 31 – Vallejo / Tennessee Street – There is Ice Cream, fuel, food, and lodging at this exit.

Exit 33 – Vallejo / Redwood Street – HOSPITAL – There are lots of tourist facilities here.

Exit 34 – San Rafael / Columbus Parkway / CA 37 – Six Flags Marine World and lodging at this exit.

Exit  36 – American Canyon Road - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 38 – Red Top Road – There is 24 hr. fuel and food at this exit.

Exit 39 – Napa via CA 12 / Green Valley Road - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 40 – Interstate 680 (from westbound only) to Martinez & Concord.  There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 41 – Suisun Valley Road – There is 24 hr. fuel, food, lodging, and RV service at this exit.

Exit 44 – Suisun City and Rio Vista via CA 12 / Abernathy Road – The Budweiser Plant and shopping are at this exit.

 

The City of Fairfield – has a population of over 77,000 and an elevation of 15 feet above sea level.  It was founded in 1903.  Travis Air Force Base is located here and has a major influence on the economy here.  This is also a major agricultural area being in California’s central valley, the most productive agricultural area in the United States.  The things you won’t want to miss here are the Anheuser-Busch Brewery tour at 3101 Busch Drive, The Jelly Belly Factory Tour at 2400 N Watney Way, The Scandia Family Fun Center at I-80 and the Suisun Valley Road, and the Travis Air Force Museum of vintage aircraft on Travis Air Force Base building 80.  Stop at the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce, 1111 Webster St., Fairfield, CA 94553, Telephone 707-425-4625 for more information. Exit 47 – Waterman Blvd. / Travis Air Force Base – There is food at this exit and a museum at the Base.

Exit 48 – Fairfield / N. Texas Street. – There is food, 24 hr. fuel, and lodging at this exit.

Exit 49 – Lagoon Valley Road / Cherry Glen – There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 50 – Peria Adobe Road – There is a motel at this exit.

Exit 52 – Cherry Glen Road (westbound only) - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 53a – Merchant Street / Alamo Drive – There is gas, food, and lodging at this exit.

Exit 53b – Davis Street – There is gas, food, and auto repair at this exit.

Exit 54 – Mason Street / Peabody Road – There is fuel, food, lodging, and shopping at this exit.

 

City of Vacaville – has a population of over 70,000 and an elevation of 179 feet above sea level.  The Vacaville Museum is located at 213 Buck Avenue.  Open Wed thru Sun from 1 to 4:30 PM and admission is by donation.

Exit 62 – Midway Road / Lewis Road – There is an RV Park north of the exit.

Exit 63 – Dixon Road / Midway Road – There is food, 24 hr. fuel and lodging at the exit.

Exit 64 – Dixon / Pitt School Road – There is 24 hr. fuel and 24 hr. food at this exit.

Exit 66 – Dixon via CA 113 / Currey Road – There is food and fuel at this exit.

Exit 67 – Milk Farm Road (westbound only) - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 68 – Pedrick Road – There is fuel and LP gas at this exit.

Exit 69 – Kidwell Road - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 72 – Woodland and Interstate 5 via CA 113 North – HOSPITAL north of exit.

Exit 79 – Sacramento via I-80 Business / US Highway 50 - There are no facilities at this exit.

Exit 80 – Reed Ave – Food and 24 hr. fuel at this exit.
