	The White Rose Mansion When we entered the town of Smith River we could not help wonder what the big home on the hill was. We had to drive over and see what it was. Somehow I just knew it was a bed and breakfast, it just had to be. Obviously that is what a previous owner thought, too. It used to be a bed and breakfast. Sadly, it is no longer a bed and breakfast. You can’t miss this wonderful residence up on a hill as you drive by Smith River. 149 S. Fred Haight Drive, Smith River, CA 95567 Directions They are 10 miles south of the Oregon/California State Line on Highway 101 and 12 miles north of Crescent City, CA. They are visible from highway 101. Turn South (left if Northbound) on to Fred Haight Drive, they will be on the left. We believe this is now a private residence. Please respect their privacy.
