Photo of sign at road is loading.....Location of Largest Sitka Spruce tree in the United States.

Actually it is tied with a tree in the Olympic National Park in Washington State.  It depends on what statistic you use as to which one is the largest.  The one in Washington State is taller and this tree is larger in circumference but the top has been lost to lightning.

For more info visit

It doesn’t matter which one wins the record, this site is worth a stop to take the time to see this marvelous ancient tree.
