Netarts, Oregon is a community mainly made up of vacation homes and permanent residents. Netarts is located on the Southern Oregon Coast 9-miles west of Tillamook, OR on the Three Capes Scenic Loop.

Netarts has a population of about 750. The community is protected from the Pacific Ocean by the Netarts Sand Spit which forms Netarts Bay.

The Bay is a popular recreation site which offers scuba diving, fishing, crabbing, clamming, and boating.

Three Capes Scenic Loop Netarts Bay – Bird watching http://www.oregoncoastbirding.com/	Cape Meares Lighthouse & Wildlife Refuge Cape Meares State Park 503-842-2244 www.capemeareslighthouse.org This is the shortest lighthouse on the Oregon Coast. Visitors often spot Stellar Sea Lions as well as a variety of seabirds.
