Historic Troutdale has a
population of over 13,000 people and an elevation of 73 feet above sea
level. It is located northeast of Portland on the Columbia River. Troutdale is part of the Columbia River
Gorge recreation area.

main street in historic Troutdale is about three blocks long and for the
main part freshly painted with a variety of antique stores and restaurants.
One of main reasons to visit Troutdale is the fact that it is the Gateway
to the Columbia River Scenic Highway.
