Visitor information about the City of Davenport, WA

 

The City of Davenport, Washington is the county seat of Lincoln County.  Davenport is located in eastern Washington 36 miles west of Spokane on US Highway-2.  The easiest way to find Davenport is to take I-90 Exit 277 and head west on US-2 for 32 miles.  Lincoln County is red on the Washington State map to the left.

 

Davenport is in the heart of Washington’s wheat country.  It is surrounded by gentle rolling hills covered with wheat.  About 23 miles to the north via WA-25 is  the confluence of the Spokane and Columbia Rivers in what is now Lake Roosevelt.  The Spokane Indian Reservation is located on the north side of the Spokane River.

 

Davenport boasts a population nearing 1,800 people and Lincoln County’s population is around 10,000.  They have a swimming pool, two city parks, restaurants, motels, RV facilities, a hospital, library and grocery stores available to visitors.
