Visitor information about the City of Spokane Valley, WA.  The city likes directly east of Spokane, WA.  This area used to be unincorporated and was called “The Valley” by the locals.

 

Spokane Valley, WA is located in eastern Washington State about 3 miles west of the Washington / Idaho state line.  Interstate-90 goes right through Spokane Valley.

 

The City of Spokane Valley is in Spokane County.  Spokane County is shown in red on the Washington State map shown to the left.  Spokane Valley was incorporated on March 31, 2003.  Prior to that time it was an unincorporated area in Spokane County.

 

Spokane Valley shares its western border with the City of Spokane at Havana Street.  Its eastern boundary is only 3 miles from the Idaho / Washington State Line.

 

 

 

 

Spokane Centennial Trail

This 37 mile long trail follows the path of the Spokane River from Nine Miles Falls, west of the City of Spokane, east through Spokane and Spokane Valley to the State Line, 3 miles east of Spokane Valley’s eastern city limits.

 

Spokane Valley Mall

Spokane Valley Mall is located to the northwest of Interstate-90 Exit 291.  The mall has about 130 stores with Macy’s, Penney’s, and Sears in the major stores category.

Avista Stadium

Avista Stadium is located in Spokane Valley at its west limits with the City of Spokane.  The stadium is used mainly for baseball and seats 7,162 people.  It is home to the Spokane Indians minor league baseball team.

 

Spokane County Fairgrounds

The Spokane County Fair and Expo Center is located in Spokane Valley on Havana Street, the boundary between Spokane Valley and Spokane.    Various shows and events are held on the grounds throughout the year.
