These two cities history is
that of lumber towns, dependent on the harvest, milling, and shipping of
finished lumber products the world over.
Their location on the Columbia River
gives them direct access to world-wide shipping.
WA Highway-4
WA-4 heads west, to the Ocean
Beaches, from this exit and roughly follows the Columbia River connecting
up with US Highway 101 26 miles south of Raymond and 22 miles north of the
Columbia River.
