Klahowya National Forest Campground

Highway 101 – 21 miles east of Forks at Mile Post 212

Park Information

This is a typical National Forest campground.  They are not much on facilities, but what they don’t have in facilities they make up for in privacy, location, and that “back woods” feel.  This campground has pit toilets, a fair amount of space between camping spaces, an overflow area for large RV’s, sites right on the Sol Duc River (if you look hard you can see the river through the trees behind the table), and a lot of tall trees with the sun streaming down through them.  This would be a great place to be on a hot summer day.  There is a 30’ maximum trailer length suggested.

The Olympic National Forest Campgrounds are operated on a first come first served basis.

Campsites are $10.00 and $12.00  there are 30 tent sites and 30 tent/trailer sites.
