Park information
The day use area has two
kitchen shelters, 20 sheltered picnic tables, and 15 picnic tables. Picnic areas can be reserved by using the
reservation system listed below.
The camp has 63 tent sites and
16 utility spaces along with one dump station, five restrooms, and three
showers. For the summer of 2001 the
fees are $14.00 for a campsite and $20.00 for a hook-up site. This park is in the reservations system, the
number is listed below.
Other Facilities
The park has one group camp for
tents only that accommodates up to 60 people.
Camp Ramblewood Environmental
Learning Center is located here and can be rented by groups up to 70
people. See the State Parks web site or

History
Fort Flagler was one of three
forts that guarded the entrance to the Puget Sound from enemy fleets from the
1890’s to 1953. In 1955 the fort was
purchased by the state for a park.
This is a reservation campground and reservations may be made by
calling 1-800-452-5687.

Fort Flagler is
the north end of State Route 116. From
Port Hadlock (SE of Port Townsend) turn right onto the Oak Bay Road, go two
miles and turn left onto SR 116, the park is at the end of the road.
