We recommend the Lake Quinault Lodge We normally only print three photos on our recommendation page
because we feel three exterior photos will give you visual recognition of the
location when you get there and give you a feel for what the establishment
offers. However, the Lake Quinault
Lodge is more about what is inside than what is outside. Our outside photos did not do the facility
justice. The top photo is a photo of
their sign. Usually a sign is the best
indicator of what a business offers.
Their sign, Ho Hum, it would not bring me in and really gives a false
indication of the facility! Second,
exterior photos give you the architecture of the establishment, age,
traditions, and level of maintenance.
The top center photo is of the exterior that you see driving up. It is somewhat impressive but does not tell
the story. The top right photo is a photo from the main lodge room looking
out toward the parking lot and woods across the road. You can see these windows in the center of
the building in the center photo. This
shot starts to give you a feeling of the Lodge. The bottom left photo is from the same room
looking out at the lake. Are you
getting more of the feeling? The photo
on the bottom right was taken from our table at breakfast. Same sweeping lawn down to the lake as in
the bottom left photo except from the dining room. Now I’m sure you get the feel. Upon arrival is soon becomes obvious that the staff is here to
serve you. They are courteous, and aim
to please. I can’t say enough about
this facility. This facility offers
true luxury in a lake in the wood setting.
There is a price to be paid to enjoy this kind of atmosphere and I
would call this Resort expensive but not overly priced. What you spend here is worth every
penny. If the price is to high for your budget, try the off-season or if that is
still out of your range just stop by for a meal on your way through, but
don’t miss this place. Because staying at this Lodge is a Northwest tradition
they are always full in the summer, most weekends, and holidays. Make sure to make reservations as there are
no alternatives within 40 miles. Phone: 360-288-2900 Toll Free: 1-800-562-6672 Visit their web site for
