Skagit county measures 20 miles wide on Interstate-5 (north to
south) from Exit 240 near its north border to Exit 221 near its southern
border.
Most if western Skagit County
lies on the Skagit
River delta. Most of the trip across Skagit County
is flat and level only going up hills at the north and south ends of the
valley as you enter and leave the valley.
