There is only one non-branded gas station here.  However, this is a neighborhood shopping center with; a Fred Meyer, and Lakeway Center both at the intersection of Lakeway and Lincoln Streets on the East side of the exit.  This Exit is The gateway to Downtown Bellingham, to the West, with its farmers market on Saturdays May thru October and its interesting shops and several restaurants. 

The Visitors Bureau is also at this exit.

Places to go and things to do

Visitor’s BureauA must first stop in the Bellingham / Whatcom County Area

Whatcom Falls Park Three miles East on the left and on the left again if you turn left on Electric Ave.

 

Blodel Donovan Park 3 miles East of exit, left on Electric Ave, 2 miles on the right.  This park is on Lake Whatcom.

 

Maritime Heritage CenterWest of exit through Downtown Bellingham to the Bay it is on the right just past the creek.  It is actually on the creek but there are businesses in front of it.  Take the first street to the right after the creek.
