Places to go and things to do
For a scenic 30 minute drive around Lake Samish,
head West and then North to the North end of the lake. When you get to the North end of the lake
you will find yourself on a bridge crossing over the lake. The Lake Samish
County Park
is on the left just across the bridge.
This is a favorite local swimming hole and a nice spot for a
picnic. During the summer there is a
concession stand with nice tables under the trees. If you continue for two miles you come to
Interstate 5 at Exit 246 ending your loop around Lake Samish.
