Skagit County is in northwestern Washington State. The northern county line is 30 miles south of the Canadian Border and the county is about 30 miles wide north and south. Most of the population of Skagit County is in the western 15 miles of the county.

Bow & northwestern Skagit County	Laconner
The Bow area is located in northwest Skagit County and includes the villages of Alger, Bow, and Edison and the rural areas around them. Mount Vernon	San Juan Islands
