Junction with Interstate-5 Exit 230

Interstate-5 in the Mount Vernon / Burlington Area

City of Burlington – for years this was a 6 block long, quiet farm town in the Skagit River Valley.  Today it has become the Skagit Valley’s regional shopping center with a regional mall, an outlet center, and several new malls, all of which can be seen from Interstate-5

State Highway-20 gets off to a tricky start through Burlington but is well signed.  Head east from the freeway interchange and travel two blocks to the second traffic light, the highway will turn left (north) at the light onto S. Burlington Blvd.  Travel north four blocks to Fairhaven Street and turn right (east).  “Voila”, you are on the road headed east.
