Ocean beaches map is loading......Tokeland and North Cove, WA are located near the mouth of Willapa Bay, in Pacific County, Washington State.

We call this area the Cranberry Peninsula.  State highway WA-105 loops around the peninsula.

WA Highway-105.

The Cranberry Peninsula is located between Willapa Bay and Grays Harbor on the southwest Washington State Pacific Coast.

We call the peninsula the Cranberry Peninsula because the local Chamber calls the local beaches the Cranberry Coast.  There are about 18 miles of beach on the Cranberry Coast.  This area of Washington’s ocean beaches is less developed than other areas and offers a peaceful and serene place to visit.  The beaches are wide and made up of white sand.  If you want to be truly inspired, visit the beach at night.  The lack of city lights in the area makes millions of stars visible clear out to the horizon.

North Cove is a small community.  It lies at the extreme southwest corner of the Cranberry Peninsula and the south end of the Cranberry Coast ocean beach.

Tokeland is another small, mainly residential, community located on a 2.5 mile long peninsula that juts into Willapa Bay from the Cranberry Peninsula.  This area is about 19 miles south of Westport and about 19 miles from Raymond and South WA-Counties01-PacificBend, WA which are on US-101.

Tokeland’s main attraction is Willapa Bay, its opening into the Pacific Ocean, and the Pacific Ocean Beaches in the area.  The Historic Tokeland Hotel located in this community is listed on the National Historic Registry.  The hotel is European Style (rooms share bathrooms) with rooms decorated to match its historic past.  The hotel has a restaurant that is open daily, usually from 8am to 8pm.
