Coquitlam is on the north shore of the Fraser River. Its southern border is the Fraser River and the City of New Westminster. Its eastern border is the Pitt Lake and Pitt River to its confluence with the Fraser River. Its western border is New Westminster, Burnaby, Burrard Inlet, and Indian Arm.
