The Kitsilano District of Vancouver, BC, Canada is shown in yellow on the map to the left. The primary commercial district of Kitsilano is West 4^th Avenue, west of Granville Street.

West 4^th Avenue is considered by many to be one of Vancouver’s trendiest shopping and dining districts. This vibrant neighborhood shopping area has a wide variety of one of a kind shops, boutiques, gift shops, sports stores, cafes, and restaurants.

Kitsilano Beach and Vanier Park

Just north of west 4^th Avenue lies the Kitsilano Beach on English Bay. If you look across English Bay you see the skyline of downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park. Vanier Park runs along the beach west of the Burrard Street bridge. In the park you will find not only a wonderful saltwater beach, but also the Vancouver Museum, the R.H. MacMillan Space Center, and the Vancouver Maritime Museum.
