Vancouver01-Kerrisdale.jpgKerrisdale

Kerrisdale is called “The Village” by the locals.  In general, Kerrisdale is not a tourist destination; it is a commercial district that serves the local community.  It is only a couple of blocks long so I guess the term “Village” fits it well.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to have lunch or dinner and get the feel of a real Canadian neighborhood then Kerrisdale and the restaurants and shops there will certainly give you an accurate view of how Canadians live and shop.  As you can see from the Recommendations and Listings below Kerrisdale has a wide variety of commercial establishments

Where is Kerrisdale?

Kerrisdale is easy to find.  Simply take BC-99 to southern Vancouver and turn west (left if going northbound) on 41st. Avenue.  In several blocks you will find West Boulevard across the railroad tracks.  You are in the heart of Kerrisdale.

Kerrisdale is a Vancouver neighborhood and its borders are defined by the City as from Blenheim Street in the West to Granville Street in the east and from 41st. Avenue to the north arm of the Fraser River.
